Samyang/Rokinon 135 mm mounts and adapters

Here we document mounts and adapters in development for the Samyang/Rokinon 135 mm f/2 lens. We are particularly interested in making it possible for DSLR users of Samyang/Rokinon 135 mm f/2 lenses to use the Spectral Pro. It is simple for astronomy camera users to adapt the 1.25" and and 2" mounted filters but problematic for DSLR users. There is no native back focus to place a standard mount naturally.

If you are interested in having any 3D printed prototypes to use a 1.25" filter (27.7 mm) with your Samyang/Rokinon 135 mm f/2 lens, select the 1.25" mounted version in your cart. When you purchases also write us a note explaining which 3D printed adapters you would like with your shipment.

This is an idea we are working on. The idea is to have a specialised adapter that threads to the back of the Samyang lens. Feedback received so far is positive, many people down like using clip in filters for a multitude of reasons. This is a nice alternative.

Note when using a 1.25" / 27.7 mm filter with an APS-C sensor, there will technically be a small but manageable vignette. This is simple to solve with flats, post processing, and/or minor crop.
